Recovering Costs from the Third Party
An experienced claims handler will take the initial claim details
which will then be assessed immediately. Below are some key factors
to ensure all costs can be recovered from the Third Party at fault
thus enabling us to deal with the claim.
- We confirm the client is not at fault by speaking to all parties, i.e., all drivers, witnesses, passengers etc.
- We will speak to the Third party to obtain insurance details and confirm valid insurance at the time of the accident.
- All details will be screened using various fraud databases to ensure we prevent any fraudulent claims.
- Confirm with the client their need for a replacement vehicle and the correct vehicle is supplied.
- Claims department will monitor the claim to ensure the vehicle is repaired and the hire vehicle is only supplied for the time required.
Once the claim has been assessed we instruct the relevant engineers and solicitors as required.
